I've not moved now for 23 years - don't know whether I could cope with the hassle now!

I'm desperate to move and put down roots. If the dealer can't pull the car off for us, I won't be going anywhere! Still feel awful. It is great to hear the success stories as these cheer me up!!!

I hope you get the car sorted BOL - read your blog and it's not good that your OH has been declined.

I really hope it's not down to an unpaid utility bill. They're only ever about £40 pq as we're never there. Haven't been down since new year so I bet that's it and there's the same stack of bills and demands and court threats we always find when we get down there!

Could he not get the bills sent to his home address? Make it easier to pay them then and not get in arrears.

They won't allow utilities for one property to be billed to another for some reason. And the OH doesn't like direct debit?!? Strange boy!

He could have the mail redirected or do it online so that he can pay over the Internet? Seems a shame to have credit turned down just for that reason.

I'd leave this house and everything in it with a flash of an eye if I could, I've never been so unhappy here. As soon as this IVA is over I'm going for sure even if it means renting. I just want out.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I know you've always hated it Lesley - you'll be able to go when you've finished your IVA.

Luluj - brilliant weather for househunting today!

what a mess - described as an immactuately decorated property........ had to enter via backdoor as front door blocked up....wallpaper hanging off and mould on the walls - thatwas just in the kitchen / diner - we didn't even venture upstairs ! Hmmmmm... yesterday's was lovely - second viewing tomorrow night ! This is nerve wracking !

Probably a bit late now Lulu -- but remember to take a digital camera with you --- after a while all the properties tend to merge into one !

That sounds like the house from hell Luluj! Best avoided!

Reminds me of one we went to look at and all the working surfaces in the kitchen were scratched, the cupboard doors and drawer fronts were hanging off! Even the promise of a nice view with sheep in the field at the rear wasn't enough to tempt us!

And the one with artex that was about a foot thick on the walls and everywhere was painted orange!
