Ladyh, Hira isn't the only cat who won't eat treats - Harry won't either.

He will only eat James Wellbeloved food, and up until recently he would only eat the duck and rice flavour. He'll eat turkey and rice now though - he had an upset tummy and I starved him, and then got him turkey as I thought it would be less rich.

When I put the turkey down it was like his stomach thought his throat had been cut!

I pushed my luck trying him on white fish flavour though!

i was smoker before my iva, during my iva and still am.

I smoke 20 a day, which is about £150 a month, i was suprised but during my iva i was allowed a smoking allowance of £20 a month, but yes the shortall, when you have to you find ways, and i also agree with non smokers why should smokers be allowed a smoking a budget, when they dont get one.

Dont forget once your expenditure is accepted you can move it about, for example my sky was accepted, but i cancelled it which gave me extra money.

I know if you smoke, you find it as a stress relief, but the fact the money problems are easing its a better feeling, but if its that much of porblem go BR, we all have a choice

My I&E reflects 100% of what I spend and then leave it with my IP to advise accordingly. My hubby and I both gave up smoking 3 years ago and therefore don't claim a smoking allowance.

My dogs are pretty much ok and we buy the cheapest food we can, which at the moment is Superchunks from Asda.

We do treat them to £1 worth of scratchings each week as they love them and I splash out on tiddlers by Fish4dogs. They love them and they are a reward when we are out walking. They do stink though!

We would go without rather than the dogs go without.

Not smoked for about 12 years (for me) and 24 for hubby.

Wouldn't be without Sky though!

Well done to you for giving all of those animals a loving home. My little Yorkie - aged nearly 16, loves the Bakers Senior - and your IP should have pushed for a higher allowance for you than £21 if they had known that you were providing a loving home to 9 magnificent creatures.

Moneypenny what a lovely household you have! I would have more dogs (not a cat person myself) but hubby would blow a gasket!

I would like more dogs if I had time and space, but sadly got neither. My ideal dog would be a border collie puppy to train from an early age, one day maybe but sadly not yet.

You're so lucky Moneypenny! I'd have more cats if I could, although I don't think Harry would be too impressed as he likes being the centre of attention!

We have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 1 parrot, a rat and 2 horses. ALl the cats have completely different personalities but are all brilliant in their own little way.

I would like to have a cat but I don't think the dog would be too happy about it. We always had cats at home when I was a kid.

Our dogs took to the 2 new cats really well. They even cuddle up together to sleep now.

Always have been a dog person and whilst I love an obedient dog(and I have two who are very naughty at times!) mine are just pets and totally rule the household!

That is absolutely correct Orange - and people have to continue to have lives whichever way they have chosen to live them. My job as an IP is to try to ensure minimal disruption to family life, but at the same time helping my clients to deliver a realistic return to their creditors. It does work most of the time.
