We decided that next year we are going to all have christmas jumpers to wear on the day and put the rest of the money we normally spend into the holiday account !

Next year we are going to put money into a holiday fund as we are planning on going to Florida in 2013. We won't be having Christmas jumpers though, I'd cancel Christmas before I wore anything like that!

My hubby would kill me if I bought him anything like that.!

My best xmas present? we our hoover broke the week before xmas so we had to spend the money hubby was going to use for xmas presents for me on a new one! so apart from that I didn't get anything, but I'm not bothered, it was good enough just seeing the kids with theirs

The best present we had as a family was a lovely new addition to the clan (grandson for me) in the form of Alfie, who weighed in at 4lb 15oz. Ever so tiny, but absolutely gorgeous.

As for the normal type presents, my two presents from Mrs Size were a small omelette pan and a new dustpan and brush. I know my place......

Wouldn't tell mind, couldn't subject another of the brotherhood to my cinderella existence....

My hubby is well trained as well - we're off shopping as soon as I get home and tea has already been made so will just need waring through and fried rice done.

I can't really complain - he's just spent 3 days putting a covered extension onto the goat house as they were getting too wet!

Now he's finished that so he can do my dinner again each night and I can take a break!

Like Mike, I am the domestic goddess in this household, but luckily didn't get any household items .. one welcome gift was a torch -- since mine broke a while back I keep borrowing little foggy's torch and getting funny looks ( its a Buzz Lightyear effort, shaped like a rocket!). Now I can hold my head up high again in the bin store !!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Congratulations Mike!

Dave is the domestic goddess in our house - he says I only know where the kitchen is as I have to walk through it to get to the bathroom!
