Thanks all for your help here. I was personally contacted by one of the directors at Blair Endersby and assured my issues would be thoroughly investigated as the way I had been treated was totally unacceptable. These comments were of such releif and were very welcomed. Finally, I was getting somewhere!

I was promised to be contacted today by one of the senior people at BE and I'm pleased to report that this happened. I have just come off the phone to one of BE's representatives and have gone through my whole I & E again and they are now looking at ways to help me out.

I'm due a call back around 6:30pm with a decision so I am keeping all my fingers crossed.

Like I explained to the person on the phone, yes this is my problem and there is only me to blame but I want to try and repay back my debts but without impacting my ability to live properly.

I shall report back with the outcome.

Thanks again,
Andrew

Ok, ladies and gentlemen ... some feedback for you.

Just had a call with Amy Reddy at Blair Endersby and I am pleased to report that she along with Antoinette Thorpe have completely turned this around and 110% restored my faith in their company. I will not go into the specifics but having worked all the figures out they are more than happy to put a variation to my creditors WITHOUT a 1 year extension. They have also re-calculated my payments to now be £400 instead of £680 ... Yes, you read that right, £280 less than I am paying at the minute! And to top it off they have kindly agreed to a payment break for one month to enable me to get back on track with my finances. Obviously this needs approval by the creditors so I am not out of the woods yet but this is a huge step forward from the stressful position I was in 24 hours ago.

If this gets approved, this is a huge weight of my shoulders and will enable me to live without the worry of having zero money. I know nobody on this forum knows me but I am a very honest person and will always pay my way. Not once have I tried to get something for nothing or ever stolen anything .. I am one of the honest people you will ever meet and like I said before all I want to do is repay back some of what I owe. Believe me, this has been a huge learning curve for me and I will never get into this predicament ever again.

I want to end this post by thanking Antoinette Thorpe and Amy Reddy at Blair Endersby. Their combined efforts have turned this issue round and more and I cannot thank them enough.

I am pleased that action has been taken against the people I have previously been dealing with but I hope they take their telling offs as a little reminder to have respect and empathy for the people they are speaking to and that we are not just a name on a list.

If my variation gets approved, I will be mostly sticking a Blair Endersby flag on my chimney! :-)

Thanks also to everyone who replied, including the regular forum users and IPs.

From a very relieved and pleased, Andrew!

It's amazing what being a member of this forum can do! I would advise anyone to drop it into conversation next time they speak to their account team!

Absolutely, if it wasn't for the people at BE monitoring these forums, I would still be in my predicament! Well done to them!

Just wish my IP firm posted on here, might get a better response!

Antoinette Thorpe started her career in insolvency by working for me, and I can honestly say she is one of the best operators in this business.

It must be difficult acting as an IP in a large firm where you cannot possibly have the personal time to dedicate to all clients, so it is very pleasing to see that on this occasion she stepped in an brought some common sense to a situation where I suspect you may have been speaking to someone inexperienced.

Well done Otna - as we affectionately call her.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

I too had the pleasure of working with Antoinette for a number of years and can only agree with Melanie that you are in the safest of hands. She takes her job and clients very seriously and I am delighted but not surprised that she has been able to help.
