Ok that's it ,i officially feel old,my son is 18 today, and i can clearly remember my 18th birthday and how i thought people in their 30's were ancient!
He's still my baby boy(he'll kill me for that!)[;)]and we had some rough times when his dad and i split and it was just me and him for 5 yrs.Still he's in college and he's working and he's never brought any trouble to my door(and in our area that is an achievement believe me)
He's kind and considerate and i am so proud of him.He is nearly 6ft and im only 5ft (and 1"!)so he calls me "pocket mum" [:0]and he has no problem in front of his friends when he's going out saying goodbye to me and that he loves me,despite the ribbing he gets!
Don't mean to go on just feel a bit emotional about it today[:I]anyway my ten yr old is turning out just great too so i couldn't be happier xx sometimes you need to remember the positives
CAN'T BUY ME LOVE !!

Happy Birthday to your son, he sounds like a real credit to you and a well balanced young man x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Wish your son a very happy 18th from me.
It's amazing isn't it when your little darlings are grown up? I look at my 19yr old, my 2nd child, he's 6'3-4 and still growing, I'm 5'2 and still shrinking!!! lol
I seriously have to look upto him when I'm talking to him. Makes me laugh because he won't call me mam, calls me by my name because he says we are more like mates!
xx
It's nice to be back......
