Hi Everyone. Just wanted to share my money saving idea.
It is our sons birthday next week and he will be 7. He is into Star Wars Lego in a big way and I wanted a birthday banner in Star Wars Lego for him but all the ones I have found are really expensive. I spent a couple of hours at my computer and have designed my own banner which is personalised and looks great, just need to get some split pins to put the sections together. My sister liked it so much she has asked me to make one for my nephews birthday in September. I managed to order a personalised lego star wars card and 24 cake tops all for a total of £4.

Thanks for the lovely comments. He is having a bowling party with 10 of his friends all paid for using tesco clubcard vouchers so not cost us a penny and he is happy. Getting used to the IVA allowance and we are enjoying find new ways to be creative and save money. xx
