It's not very often we see you down Mrs S! Keep strong for the wee one and he will keep strong for you. Thoughts are with you and know that you will come throught the other side - you always do!

Hes obsessed with horses(hes only 5) so we have saved up his DLA and last week we bought him a little shetland pony. He loves him soooooooooo much. He mucks him out and brushes him and takes him for walks on a lead rope. Hes even had a little ride. Tonight he went into his stable to kiss him good night, kissed him on the nose and told him he loves him.
It was one of them moments that make you want to cry it was so sweet.
I think he may do his confidence a lot of good.

Isn't it amazing how animals can help people? I'm glad your little one has his Shetland pony - I'm sure it'll make a big difference to him. When we were on holiday last year we went to the Donkey Sanctuary in Devon, and saw how how the donkeys help children and build their confidence.

ah thats lovely.. will give him a little sense of responsibility and something to look forward to.. think animals are the best cure for anything, so giving!!! whats he called him??
