I had an e-mail today for taking part in a forum, non specific telling me there were 'checks'(This is how it was spelled) waiting for my contrubution. On closer inspection they wanted my banking details, I deleted it. I know our e-mail addresses are not shown any more, I have only written on this and myvesta. I do not usually buy things on the internet, but they seemed to know a lot about me and apart from the spelling it did look genuine, I am hoping its not some sort of spy ware.

Take care everyone

I asked God for an answer, I have to live with his reply.

Hi freelili
Thank you for the warning. We confirm that the email facility has been disabled on this forum for this very reason!

Your action in deleting the email and NOT REPLYING was entirely correct. With a reply, the sender has got what they wanted.. your email address ... which they can then use themselves, or sell.

best wishes, admin.
