Hi cindy.me - yes you are right! My mistake. Just processed April's salaries and with the new tax codes we are only £18 better off. Be even less next month when the new NIC rates come in.

Glad you have sorted things out charlietill with a payment break. Must be a weight off your mind.

I didn't realise NI contributions were changing missyp - does that mean my salary will go down again next month?

I think it probably does - they give with one hand and then take away with the other!

It wouldn't seem so bad if I wasn't taxed on BUPA as well!

I don't have that problem but think that my pension contributions are about to increase!

I've had a look and the NI changes come into effect on 6th April, so surely they should already have hit?

I've no idea to be honest - my last payslip wasn't available before I finished work. I'll find out on Monday when I work the bank holiday - it should be there by then!!!!!!!

I don't know how to tell from my payslip as it only shows the amount of NI that I pay and I wouldn't have a clue how to work it out!

We were paid today rather than Monday, so now I've got to make sure I don't touch it otherwise it'll be a long month!

I wouldn't have a clue either! We get paid on the 16th of the month now rather than the end and I'm just about getting to grips with that!
