Good Afternoon all, not posted for a long time but HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all, my IVA F&F has finaly been sorted (after 2 years from start to finish) and I have now received my certificate of completion and my name has gone from the Insolvency Register (yeah), but husbands is still ongoing and looks to be so for a long long time, my question is should we have received at any time a statement from our IP regarding the monies held on our behalf.

thanks

Hi, and nice to see you back.

Happy New Year to you as well, and congratulations on your IVA having been finished. What a wonderful feeling that you are now deb free.

You should receive a statement every year shouldn't you? Not 100% sure on that, but Melanie or one of the other experts will be along soon.

Yes Jan is quite correct. Your IP ought to be sending copies of his annual report to creditors and the Court to you. This has to be sent within two months of the anniversary.

Thank you for your replies, as of todate we have never received a report or a receipt for any monies sent so don't know what has been paid out and what is left for my husbands creditors when his iva is sorted.

thanks

You need to get onto your IP and chase him for the report as soon as possible.

There is no harm in asking them to send you a copy - which should have been sent to you by your IP when it was issued to creditors.
