I am still reading the forum every day, hoping for any info that may help my situation! I have STLL not heard anything from Picture about the sale of my house, they said it would take a day or 2 and that was nearly 3 weeks ago! I am sure they will not be keen on a sale as they probably want to make us hang on to the house hoping it rises in value! It does not really matter anymore as we cannot pay the solicitor's bill to go ahead with the sale anyway, I feel terrible as we have had a letter saying our buyer is sooo anxious to complete, but we cannot!!!!!! I have also had a Default Notice from Northern Rock about the unsecured loan, they want over £30,000 in the next 14 days or I will be taken to court and have to pay court costs as well! What does this actually mean??

And now to top it all, my son is ill! He started with a sore throat on the day we moved house and it has got steadily worse, antibiotics had no effect, he had a blood test and we got the results today, it is glandular fever! So I am off work, I said it was me who was ill, I cannot leave him alone, his tonsils are so enlarged he cannot swallow, I am scared he may choke! I have already had 2 weeks off as holiday to move house and now this is my 3rd week off, God, what a mess, I don't want to get in trouble with my job too as well! Sorry, moan over!

Hi Jane

You know we are all rooting for you. Hang in there. Just a quick point which may be complete utter rubbish but I'm just thinking out loud. If you were to get the go-ahead to sell from Picture is it possible to ask the buyer to pay your legal costs in return for the amount to be taken off sale price. I'm sure somebody with more knowledge of this will be along to say yes or no. Just trying to help if possible.

Hello Jane

Just wanted to say hang in there, I think bear's idea could work and take the pressure off with the buyers. I am sorry you are having such a tough time right now. I honestly think that kids pick up on the stress and it effects their health also. You are being a mom to your son and he needs you right now. You are allowed to take some time off when your kids are sick I had to (special leave). Take a deep...........breath .......and one day at a time, you are doing all you can, I kn..ow its...hard to stay sane, but you will, | did................. I am sor..ry for the dots.......my keybopard is kkknackered, big time....... I was trying to de..lete them but it was ta...king too long.

Good luck think ing of you. Dom

...inic i spilt tea on tmu ......;aptop ,,,,,...and it s sticking.........what can I do?,.....

Hi Jane, just really wanted to agree with what lily has already said, you have come so far,and im sorry your son is poorly, but you have to put your energys into looking after your family.
I understand the pressure you are under, but at this time, dont worry about picture,or NR,just concentrate on whats really important.
I no that the house issue when sorted will enable you to move on,and i hope you will find a solution to this senario soon, but please for now concentrate on you,and your family.
We are all here to support you as and when you need us,im sending lots of love and support.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a tough time Jane and I hope your son is feeling better soon.

Lily, I can't believe you've spilt tea on your laptop! I've asked Dave and the only thing he can suggest is to take the keys off and clean underneath. Good luck!

Onwards and upwards!!!

Hi Jane

The best thing to do is try and stop worrying about the house and let your mortgage lender and Picture sort things out amongst themselves. Make sure that you keep all of the documentation and correspondence with Picture about the current buyer, as if they refuse to allow a sale, and the property is eventually sold for a lower sum - thus increasing their claim - there may be grounds for a challenge. it might be worth mentioning this in passing to Picture the next time you speak to them.

In the meantime, concentrate on your poorly son.
