If it is under the 10% Fergie, then you will be ok and it will be yours to keep.

You are worrying over nothing. To put your mind at ease send the monthly wage slip to your IP as confirmation that you did not exceed the 10% overtime allowance. It is worth doing this every couple of months anyway and paying over any extra at the time. It avoids any unpleasant bills at review stage and speeds the whole annual review process up.

Don't worry Fergie - it's better to check up on these things if you are not sure about them.

Better to be safe than sorry!

Hi Fergie, the easist thing to do to keep track is to ask your IP what your monthly income figure is including the 10%. I know this is easy to work out, but some proposals use an average for weekly payed.

We have the figure in writing, so we don't even have to work it out, as long as we're under we do nothing. If we're over, we know we just have to divide by two and send the payment off - no more worrying [;)]
Hope this helps.

Go out and spend it on something nice for yourself. Your IP will not be touching any of that well-earned overtime!
