still waiting cc from dfd

Hi all, I know many of us are waiting cc's and are tangled in the PPI hold ups.
I rang DVD today for n update but basically the advisor couldn't tell me much except that they are crossing the I's and dotting the t's. I couldn't get time
scales other than thanks for my patience. I made last payment Nov 12.
I don't understand why they can't get the certs out and deal with PPI aside.
Any advice welcome

I'm with you, I'm not sure why they can't get the certificates out when other IP's can but as you also say so many are awaiting their certificates despite have made all payments and some 2 years ago. It's not right but sometimes it is he who shouts loudest so might be worth hassling them regularly.x

I finished payments in October 2012 and was constantly phoning to get the CC. I had one ppi claim outstanding which made it even more frustrating and had not been handled very well by EIF. Eventually I posted about it all on here and Judith from DFD picked it up. (this was June) she got the ball rolling and got a variation meeting done for me to allow the ppi claimn to be handled separately to allow my IVA to close. This was on the 5th august (takes a while to get paperwork done for it and then give creditors 28 days notice) and I had my CC on the 9th August. The outstanding PPI will still be paid into my IVA once completed I have since found this out as was led to originally believe otherwise, but still hopefully Judith will pick up this thread and get in touch with you. She was really helpful and If I had not of posted on here I would no doubt still be awaiting my CC. Quite sad that you need to post on a forum to get results despite asking god knows hawing many times direct, but got the result in the end. Good luck
