Hi all
Have sent I & E to new comp Grant Thornton. Posted a while ago saying I was anxious as Accuma or previous firm had made a few errors. Now I find myself worryin that GT will fail arrangement due to us not doin update I & E sooner following changes in our circumstances. Accuma were always kept upto date with regard a pay rise and also increase then decrease in mortgage. They went thru I % E on telephone and said that this could be done at review. Now Im scared that GT will take a different view and say that Ive failed. I know they are a good firm but things have never been easy and I always assume thats how things are for me. Sorry to sound like a martyr! We pay £427 pm and I have two children under four. My outgoig are def more than they were at start of iva so incomin rise just got swallowed up by increased food and petrol for more journeys to family for childcare. Can anyone put my mind at rest or am I right to be scared? Thank you so much as always, Sonia x

Hi Sonia
Grant THornton will not fail your IVA, they want it to work, your creditors want it to work and you want it to work, a very strong combination.
GT are a very professional firm and will work with you to agree a way forward
Regards
Andam Davies

You'll be fine. The last thing that they are going to want to do is fail the IVA. I know it's really hard to believe this but it's true. GT have been great to me since the transfer and my IVA was in real danger of failing. If you're really worried give them a ring on Monday, they'll set your mind at rest.

GT are one of the best firms out there for looking after their clients, and you will find them very supportive for the remaining tems of the arrangement.

He really is lovely, I spoke to him yesterday about mams worries after advice on here. He also helped me when i first started my iva and I was feeling lost. Having been there himself he understands totally how people feel. I felt humiliated and desperately low, after speaking to him I felt that Icould sort this out and there was a way forward. I now know that this isnt forever and things will be ok, even if have a few blips along the way! x

Andy Davie is a true gentleman, who never minds giving up his own time to help others, and the fact that he can relate to his own experiences - both practically and emotionally - makes him one of the best debt counsellors in the business.

I'm so pleased that you've found so many new fiends here.

Your IP has discretion when calculating any changes to I&E. You, your IP and creditors want a satisfactory conclusion to your IVA, try to provide as much supporting evidence as possible to explain any increases in your expenditure and I'm sure everything will be OK.
Kind regards,
