So the saga continues. The adjourned variation meeting for today has been and gone. Despite repeated assurances that we would be contacted, nobody rang to let us know the outcome. I rang at 5.20 only to be put through to an out of hours switchboard.
I can't believe the stress this is putting us all under and I don't know how much more we can take.
Completion Certificate received September 2012.

Thank you. I will try and ring today, but difficult as I'm out and about and have my little one with me. I can't believe they were closed when I rang. Blair Endersby had their faults but you could at least talk to someone of an evening. Who wants to discuss their IVA when they are at work or at home with screaming kids?!?! They need to be open for people to contact them when they finish work!!
I didn't eat last night I was so churned up...stressed and angry. Sleep was a long time coming to and feel awful this morning :-(

Fingers crossed for you today Angelrainbow that you get the answers you have been waiting for, very unfair to keep you dangling like this. Good luck. xx

Just read this post, it sounds awful. I am just in the process of looking for an IVA company and joined the forum for a bit of support and advice. One person told me to read posts and try and sort the good from the not so good, which it seems was an excellent opinion given the trouble and stress that you are having. Could you give the name of the company at all? or would that make the situation worse. Sorry for asking but just trying to sort out a good, consistent IVA provider as any more stress than is necessary could just be the straw that broke the camels back.

Hope that you get some answers and a satisfactory outcome. Swampduck3 x

It seems the company are Grant Thornton. They've had a few problems lately but in general they are a well respected firm. x

Thank you for that information. Grant Thornton were going to be one of the companies to consider but i think i will wait and see how they deal with AR's problem.
Once again thank you for the insight, swampduck3 x

Swampduck as you know theres a few IVA Companies who have representatives post on this forum, anyone of which are worthy considerations for dealing with your application. I dont think you will go far wrong with your research its just a shame that many who enter into IVA's etc dont realise this forum exists or if they do its too late.
I came into this world with nothing and still have most of it left!

Hi and welcome Swampduck, if it were me, personally i would definately give Melanie Giles a thought as if i had my time over again i would certainly be choosing Melanie, i wish that i had found this forum before i had embarked on my IVA journey as it is a wealth of information and also more importantly support and advice. Good luck with whomever you choose.
