I currently have BT Broadband and a Sky package and am thinking of changing over to Sky Broadband - the package will cost £26.00 per month

One for the experts

Would I be able to declare all £26.00 as expenditure. At present I do not claim any of my sky package just my TV Licence?

Hi
Could be a problem as it was not an expenditure at the time of your IVA.
Will it affect your IVA payment ?
If not then it may be ok,have a word with your IP

If this can be funded from your sundry or entertainments package, then there should be no problem.

At the moment I am able to pay for sky from money I earn from overtime (ie. have left over at the end of each month) - I do not have any clause relating to overtime in my agreement (was with Debtmatters)and only a nominal amount is paid into my IVA. I do not know if Grant Thornton will share the same view or operate the same way as Debtmatters

We changed over to Sky Broadband/Phone and Sky in December as we were previously with BT and needed a better TV pitcure than the one we were getting!!!

We are with GT and are almost 2 years into it and see no point in telling them we have switched providers as the monthly payment presently comes within our allowed I&E for Telephone/Broadband.
