IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
Yes I did say why were we sent these letters if permission was not required but to be honest he just baffled me with bull**** and I have so many other problems going on quite frankly I didn't have the energy to argue with them.
Inter-locking IVA approved 25th Feb 2013 - F&F offer Accepted 06th July 2017 - Completion Certificate received 20th July 2017
If any of you have a copy of the variation report that was sent to creditors I would love to see it. I will of course respect everyone's privacy but I would really appreciate if someone emailed me a copy. I want to see how they can justify an increase in fees when they only bought a book from one of the most respected professionals in the game.
I would understand it if they had to clean up someone's mess but having worked with Melanie I know the standard of her files and her work. There would be no problems with that caseload so why are they getting to charge more money?
Michael - if I get one happy to copy you in (where do I send it?).
Also as much I don't like what happened with pjg and think they underestimated the reputational damage I agree about the quality of the work.
It gives us a good leg to stand on should there be issues with final reviews etc.

Got mine today, tho again never signed the new CF Terms etc and low and behold they have all been altered. A hike in IP fees etc etc.... So our legally binding IVA could once again change without our permission or signature.
Loved Money, Hate Credit, Road to Recovery.... IVA started 3/3/14 -- IVA F&F accepted 18/5/17
I think we should all complain? If we accept this what else will they try? They have done this without our permission and not even informed us
Surely we have some sort of recourse?
I know that it seems that PJG gets a kick every now and again but Mel and Sue essentially provided assurance on who we were getting transferred to.
I quote:
"...you are in safe hands and that the effect of the transfer on you is anticipated to be minimal."
"...but please be assured that Susan and her colleagues at CF share our own values and business ethics..."
Although disappointed with what happened deep down I think that a lot of us tried to believe that this was the case.
If someone had come to us from PJG and said "We need your permission to increase fees so that we can keep giving you the level of service that you currently receive" most people would probably have said yes."
What also grates is that PJG kept a case load and has been seeking new clients.
Unfortunately what should now be ancient history is becoming a very raw deal.
