We've not received anything. No doubt we will tomorrow. Like what happened with that dreadful red envelope.
That is totally out of order if they have done this without our knowledge/consent.
We had our review in April and didnt get anything then about it.

My aim is to get out of the IVA - I'm knackered but I'm not going to let anyone risk that final goal.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Michael

I know that it seems that PJG gets a kick every now and again but Mel and Sue essentially provided assurance on who we were getting transferred to.

I quote:

"...you are in safe hands and that the effect of the transfer on you is anticipated to be minimal."

"...but please be assured that Susan and her colleagues at CF share our own values and business ethics..."

Although disappointed with what happened deep down I think that a lot of us tried to believe that this was the case.

If someone had come to us from PJG and said "We need your permission to increase fees so that we can keep giving you the level of service that you currently receive" most people would probably have said yes."

What also grates is that PJG kept a case load and has been seeking new clients.

Unfortunately what should now be ancient history is becoming a very raw deal.

If it were that simple I am sure that is what would have been put on the table.

I am not privvy to the whole story, and, even if I were, I would not be at liberty to share, but the whole transfer from PJG to CF was not entered into lightly and, indeed, it was borne out of a necessity not of Mel's making.

I feel, maybe incorrectly, that CF painted a different picture (as to be honest, do many firms when courting business) to the reality.

I would suggest formal complaints on an orchestrated, but individual, basis.

My personal feeling is that 300 complaints regarding a common injustice would carry more weight that a single complaint with 300 signatories.

I'm happy to share anything if it helps and Foggy is correct about individual complaints.

I know that there is a whole story that we are not aware of re. PJG and I accept what Foggy says.

As for knowledgeable/articulate - that is not the other halfs opinion. Their view would be try living with me and then a decision:)

As for CF - their letter that came with the one sent from PJG actually really gave no illusions about who they were.

My partner and myself both have ivas with CF, my OH received this letter today but I havent yet. That got me thinking... Was the MVM held for all previous PJG or can CF choose only people with certain creditors for the MVM as they know that those creditors were likely to agree to these variations, meaning my OH iva has changed but mine stays the same as we have differing creditors?

I emailed CF and told them that I would not be supporting their modifications. I received a reply saying that I would be removed from the process. So imagine my surprise when, today, I received a letter saying that a variation meeting had been called and my creditors had allowed £300 to be drawn to convene the creditors meeting! Even more surprising the supporting documentation seems to show that not one creditor had responded! I will be having a very interesting discussion with CF tomorrow.

I hope everyone individually puts in a complaint after the initial upheaval of CF it seemed to go quiet and now this, not good and I'm so sorry you're experiencing this.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
