Fab news for you!! We also had a substantial drop at the beginning of our IVA and it has never been reduced [:(]

We're coping but if things go up much more I will be asking for a reduction.

Excellent News Hayley - I hope your IVA journey runs as smoothly as possible, please keep us posted on how you are getting on.

Briggadean, Im sorry to hear you are just coping, was the reduction in income not picked up on your annual review? You do not have to wait for annual reviews if you feel you are not coping. A fresh I&E can be done at anytime to take into consideration the reduction.
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Delighted for you Hayley and well done to Lizzy for helping you out. Brigadeen I have to agree with Mrs Knight. At least speak to your IP and see if they can help make things a little easier.

Glad you have yours sorted. We have already had a reduction in our monthly contribution to fund a car thanks to the help from this forum and the fantastic support from cleardebt and I feel a bit cheeky going to them a couple of months before the review and asking them to look at our I&E. I should hopefully know next month if I still have a job so may have another change then so am planning on riding it out somewhat. Good news is I have switched home insurers and have more cover for £15 less a month so am hoping to offset some loss of income with this. Hope creditors can see that I am trying to save still to increase our DI in these hard times!

Our I&E showed that we can maintain the payments but with rising prices on food and fuel (I especially cannot afford fuel prices) We have an £80 allowance per month and oil is incredible price!!! I am due a payrise in june so hopefully that will ease the burden and I've done a little overtime where I don't have to pay anything over.
