I am currently in an iva and 2 years in and all going well, Until i had a letter from HMRC looking at my self assesment tax returns from 2006/7 2007/8.

They have so far informed me that i have been overpaid in my rebate by £2978.00 2007/8

And there is a possibility that i may owe £6129.00 from 2006/7.

In all this may amount to over £9000.00

What do i do ?

Im currently self employed ( In a partnership) and am unable to take money out the business as times are hard and we just have enough for our wages and to keap the business running.

Any Ideas ?

Hi
Your 2006/7 tax liability should have been confirmed going into your IVA.
You will need to speak to your IP as soon as possible
