Hi
Everyone who is on a L tax code with be better off this month as the personal allowance changes. We will all get a lump sum of 60.00 this month and then an extra 10.00 per month for the next 6 months.

Do we have to pay this over to our IP's ????

It's within the 10% for me as well, so shouldn't make a difference.

Morning h. First day of autumn today - where is the year going?

We should all be getting this refund. It's to do with Mr Brown taking the 10p tax band off us, then realising he had probably done the wrong thing. He has re-instated it for the remainder of the tax year, so it's £60 in September and then £10 per month for the remainder of the time.

I shall be putting mine and hub's towards Christmas.

If this is for everyone, what about unlucky people like me who are out of work and may still not earn anything this month?

I know its a tax thing and if you dont earn you dont pay it so it cant be reduced...etc etc. Not really wuite sure why i asked the question, pretty silly really. It makes sense now.

It would certainly be an experience H. You may well either witness one or be on the outer fringes, it is that time of year.

What must be amazing is when the eye passes over and it becomes calm, and then the wind starts again going in the opposite direction. How weird must that be.

I'd love to fly above one and look down into it.
