Hello,a bit of a story.I have an IVA from march this year.I have kept up to date all payments.When Itook out the Iva Iwas still doing a part time dj job.The plan was to pack it up this Christmas after I had fullfilled all my bookings,However I have had a tax bill from the Inland revenue for £2000 which I have to pay my jan 08.
How will this affect my IVA? My girlfriend has said she will pay this but I am worried that this may fail my IVA.even though I have kept all my payments up todate.
Any feed back will be appreciated.

Hello.Sorry not to be of real help here. But, if you were totally up front with your IP about the DJ job, then surely there won't be an issue wit explaining the tax thing.My understanding is that these people are reasonable if reasonable things happen to folk on the IVA way.Cat1

If your girlfriend is going to pay the bill for you, then there is no real problem, but the outstanding tax should really have been included as a creditor in the IVA. Did you disclose this source of income to your IP?

Thanks for both your replies. Cat 1 Iwas upfront with my ip however they were not too bothered as I was packing up.Melanie as for including the inland revenue as a creditor I did not get the bill till this friday and was not expecting it to be that big !! Like I say I am now packed up Djying so really my main concern is that my IVA wont be failed because of this because it has been life changing for me and I want to see it through to its conclusion.At a risk of repeating myself I have kept all payments uptodate.
