If there is a clause in IVA contract stating no credit and the IVA company tells you that mortgages are viewed as credit but a mortgage is obtained and a house bought, what can the IVA company do?

Expenses will be pretty much identical to now so IVA payments should be unchanged. Have tried contacting Clearstart all week and my ip will not return my calls and i cannot get transferred to him or any other IP.

Holly ... just wanted to say well done, as you seem to be making some realy positive steps forward for the future.

Is it a joint mortgage ... presuming that you were renting before will your expenditure be similar with having the mortgage.

One of the problems with an IVA is that you really have to think about making life changing decisions.

I assume that you were sharing a place before and your boyfriends income was taken into account when working out your monthly bills(ie half share of food,elect/gas etc).

Well done you for getting on with life.
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

Hey Holly, have you tried www.insolvency.gov.uk "find an IP" put in his/her name and get their email address, then you can email them directly. Good luck, Viki X
