For the last couple of weeks ( and, apparently for the next month) Tesco have a "Big Night In" offer, where you can get 2 of the selected main meals (mainly indian dishes and pizzas) and 2 side dishes for £6.

With a handful of frozen chips I get 5 meals for me out of that lot -- OK it's not healthy eating and I wouldn't recommend such a diet every day, but you can freeze the stuff. But at £1.20, plus chips, a meal it certainly helps eke the budget out a little.

And we all need a little eke every now and then :-)

It's a good offer if you'd use it Foggy, like you say not always ideal but if you're looking at saving a few quid one week it's worth considering.

As a treat I sometimes get one of their "2 dine for a tenner" meals which does me tea for two nights though I have to confess the pudding and wine only last one night[:D]
Have no regrets, the future is ours!

I've had the 2 for £10 from M&S before and the beef alone was almost £9.00 and was lovely!

lol @ Foggy, I don't drink wine so hubby has that all to himself but the other stuff I do agree is rather tasty and if you get to ours early enough you can pick a huge joint and the rest is free so to speak. x
