If there is an excess of income for the 15 months reporting income. The excess is from unemployment or sick benefit can the trustee demand us to pay this back to them even if the bankrupt couples income no longer includes this income after the first twelve months. Therefore the family will now live under the necessity of life style (below poverty level) after the first twelve months of bankruptcy. Will this excess owing to the trustee possibly be dismissed by the courts or never will be dismissed. Even if the family has to live even further below poverty to pay the debt to the trustee????
Thank you for your advise.

I am sorry but I really do not understand your post. Are you posting from the UK? If so, please post your questions specifically.

Are you asking about paying into an Income Payments Order whilst bankrupt? If so, it's unlikely that you would have to make any payments if your income is made up of benefits.

If I have misunderstood please re-post your question.
