I just wanted to say a big thank you to Mel and her team as I have received my Completion Certificate.[:D]

Over the past few years I have been dealing with Mel and her company and throughout they have been really supportive and empathetic as well as professional at all times.

This forum has been a lifeline at times and although I am not a regular poster I am a constant viewer.

I have already started to see the benefits of completion. We have had a Building Society account that we have been using for our wages and bills, but it only comes with a cashpoint card. We have spent the past few years dealing cash only, which often meant withdrawing more than we wanted to ensure the shopping was covered.
We went into Barclays a few months ago to open a current account, but were declined. The lady said come back when you have completion certificate. We went in today and now hold a no-frills basic cash account with the all important debit card.

Hi, glad you've got a bank account sorted with a debit card. I too was with Mel and her team and echo your sentiments x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Great news .... Barclays I think have turned a corner as they refused a lot of people these accounts but recently the all important completion certificate appears to do the trick !
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

I am pleased to see you moving on Carrie, as I know it has been a rough journey for you over the past few years. Glad to see that you are getting some immediate benefit as well, on the bank account front.
