It didn't Jan[:(]...I dragged myself there, literally shaking and sat in the chair while the dentist scoured my mouth to see what work needed doing and while sat there, I was 'brace'ing myself for the bad news and it was!![:(]..I need to go back to have an x-ray (£11),apparently this is going to be a yearly thing required, also a scale and polish with the hygienist(£34), which I hate having done as she hurts[:0] and also a filling (£42), she said it's just a very tiny one that needs doing but I know what she really means is it's a whopper[:0] and is going to hurt like hell[:(]...What I'll probably do is try and be brave and have the x-ray and filling done first, then the scale & polish the following month...I know I'm a BIG baby when it comes to going to the dentist but I don't like pain, it hurts!!..Just hope when hubby goes next month, he doesn't have to have anything done or it's going to cost us a fortune....Isn't it typical though, not had to have any work done for about six years and then now we're in an IVA, you can bet I'll need everything doing...Sorry[:I], having a rant here!!, still feel better now I've got it off my chest[:)]..will keep you informed how it goes[;)]..xx
