Good evening all lovely forum members-hope youre all well x
starting to feel a bit better-have had a ton of support this week from the lovely peeps at melanies office regarding my incessant creditor calls.
barclays are the funniest because they do lots of 'silent calls' which is good because then i dont have to talk to them ! [:D]
Anyway enough gassing ! the question i was hoping to ask was i noticed lots of posters mention a full and final offer i was just interested-although your credit is still bad for 6 years do they still have to be on the insolvency register -just curious [:o)]

I am afraid so FD. It is 6 years on the insolvency register whether you clear the IVA in one year or five.

A great time thanks - and your file is in my briefcase for weekend homework! I may well give you a call over the weekend if that is OK.

I thought you came off the Insolvency Register as soon as your IVA was completed.

Did you mean the credit records Melanie?

Melanie, Jon's name was removed from the insolvency register after his F&F had been accepted.

Hi Mel
Are you sure ?
I am pretty certain that the IVA will come off the Insolvency register once it is completed, so in a full and final this would be once the payment had been made to the creditors.
I think you are thinking of a persons credit file, not the Insolvency register

I thought that once your IVA was completed your name comes straight off the insolvency register, but the IVA stays on the your credit file for 6 years?

Sorry everyone - I'm still obviously suffering from nitrogen narcosis after my recent diving holiday - removal from the insolvency register is immediate - but not so from the credit records!
