I would like to think on this occasion Melanie is wrong. I have never had anything but 100% customer care and satisfaction when dealing via email or phone.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
As I have been heavily involved in the discussions you have been having with my colleague and fellow IP, I am glad to report that we seem to have sorted out the issues which may have led to your initial post.
I sincerely hope that once the creditors meeting is called, and the outcome confirmed, that you will find time to post the full picture for the benefit of the forum members who have taken an interest in this post, and who may have been concerned at your perception of our quality of client service and the reasons which led to the issues raised on a public forum.
In the meantime I wish you every luck for a positive result at the creditors meeting.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

way back in 2005 we spoke to one of these companies cant remember the name and they sent our details on to synergi .... cost us £1000. didnt know any better at the time and didnt know about this forum either .
These are mostly referral fees. I paid a fee to Baines and Ernst to pass me on to Blair Endersby and to be honest at the time I did not really bother about it as I just wanted a solution to my problems.
It only ever tended to be the large factory firms and the smaller ones as far as I am aware do not do it.
yep . we didnt know any better at the time . swallowed up by a mountain of debt. i think it was one of these firms advertised in paper ... we sent them statements , etc , they advised us re bank accounts, and talked thru ivas. at the time we didnt know they werent insolvancy practitioners. then we heard from synergi who took on our case. we were rather niave to say the least, but we really didnt know what to do . didnt come across this forum til a couple of years into iva. could kick ourselves now but at the time it was the best grand ever spent !!! think it was funded by credit card !!!! hindsight is such a wonderful thing.
Mel's company does not charge upfront fees. The most she asks is the first months payment and if the IVA is not approved, it is refunded.

I am with Payplan - one of the so called 'IVA factory' companies.
I paid nothing until my IVA was approved.
