The "Rules" are indeed fluid! And are open to interpretation.
The problem is, that you are stuck with your own IP/IVA companies interpretation on these "Rules"
You can of course chalange their interpretations, but good luck with that!

I have to say i agree with all the above, unfortunately we aren't in a position to argue the point either! Most of us just want the IVA chapter to end and move on with our lives and not be bound by the terms and conditions that we signed up for over a given period but now there are several obsticles in the way, PPI, HMRC, Backlogs, Changing of companies, the list is endless!
There should be a finite decision on what can and can't be done, hopefully bringing it to the fore will do this but sadly i don't think it will help those of us who are presently caught up in the wrangle. All IVA providers should be doing the same in relation to assets such as PPI, whether it should be captured after completion and receipt of a completion certificate needs to be clarified once and for all. Admittedly I stands for individual but there should be some common ground in relation to PPI if it is indeed an asset, there is of course the question surrounding the interest that is added afterwards as that wasn't an asset at the outset of the IVA and i do believe this is being adressed.
Many thanks once again to Andy for sticking his head above the parapet to bring this to the attention of the media and others hopefully, let's hope it does raise some questions and hopefully gets some results.
Om shanti, namesté, good luck to all who are embarking on the IVA journey, it isn't always an easy one but the outcome is the best.
IVA COMPLETED August 2012, received Completion certificate 18.4.13.
