I understand what you mean you can never get through to Freeman Jones and when you do they make it so complicated it's frustrating! I am trying to establish my real debt and have final settlements from the debt companies what I cannot establish is how on earth Freeman Jones sort out there charges! The guy on the phone when I actually got through said it's too complicated to explain!!!! If you can find the money to pay off your debt does this go against you by coming out of the IVA. ?

they certainly don't make it easy for you to get information and actual costs of paying off/settlements etc, i sometimes think that they don't want you to clear it, hence why it is so complicated! I have left another message about half an hour ago, and I am trying again, but sitting on hold, music is not inspiring!

Hi

We haven't received report again today, have emailed a couple of times without answer, left another message on answer phone not holding my breath for a return call.

I sent in my f&f settlement letter on 9th January, I got a copy of my variation report on 28th January which I signed and sent back on the same day, from then they text me to say they had received it on the 30th January and from what I understand the creditors have 30 days to respond and arrange a meeting. I figure that not counting weekends that takes me till 10th march. I've heard nothing else from them at all. I've continued paying my monthly amount! It's frustrating and stressful! I just want this out of my life! My bad for getting myself into that mess when I was young and nieve! But your right about being on hold! I give up after 10 minutes! It's frustrating being on hold for that long! An 0845 number from a mobile is dead expensive! They left me a message saying the report had been sent forward but clueless what's going on now! I'll give till the 10th march and if I haven't heard anything I guess the chase for info begins! X

It is perfectly reasonable for IPs to want evidence of the identity of third party funders, and confirmation that funds are actually in place to see the offer through. IPs also have duties under the Money Laundering Regulations to ensure that all funds are correctly identified and traced appropriately.

Hopefully Sarah Jolly from Freeman Jones can comment upon the other issues with regard to external communications.

Hi Charlee

We are in process of F&F with FJ, I would chase them up and make sure they have a date for your meeting, I assume the meeting would be as soon as 30 days are up, it took them a week to reply to an email, and I am still waiting for a reply to an email I sent 2 days ago, I have today received a text to say they have received signed report and hope they are going to act quickly on contacting creditors, I know they are busy and much as I hate to say this they are being paid to act for us, I would give them a call if just to satisfy yourself.

I've just sent them an e-mail chasing a response, so hopefully i should hear back soon. As far as i'm aware the creditors have 30 days to respond, but this doesn't necessarily mean that i will get a response on the 30th day. I would like to think if they have heard back before they would let me know, considering the amount they are charging for the variation report and all their other charges, i would hope they wouldn't take advantage and keep this going longer than need be! Perhaps a bit neive again!
Does anyone have problems getting payslips back from FJ's?

Must admit Charlee can not fault them on returning payslips and other evidence submitted.
