Thanks Lily.

Hubby took her out this morning and was ages! I knew he had probably been talking to someone, but wondered if she had slipped her lead and run off!

He was just talking as I thought!

Awww you will be on tenter hooks now for a while, its horrible to have that panic, isnt it and so hard to come down from it, even with a happy ending.

Hopefully she has learned its not good to sprint away from mommy and lying under cars doesnt exactly comfort the soul. Our Gemma used to scoot off every chance she got. I taught her to come with treats, just small distances and a big kick ass lead, now she comes out to cut the grass and clean the car without any fear at all, she always comes back on command. She cant travel like suzie though, she is a piggy doggy, ruled by food.

Suzies food doesn't touch the sides! She has to be made to take treats gently, otherwise she nearly swallows your hand as well!

Dont't know her history at all, but I imagine she has probably had to fight for food at some point.

Ah poor thing, will you be able to find out a little bit about her history from the kennels or do they not know?

My mum's dog is like that Jan. She lived in a house with another dog and they were fed on table scraps, so we presume it was first come first served.

Hi,
I'm a bit late to this one, but glad to hear you have your dog back safe and sound.

Its such a shame that dogs can be treated in this way. We had Gemma as a puppy so she doesnt know what its like to go without. Poor Suzie, youre in safe and loving hands now, so dont bite them off, eh? And, dont do one.

Thanks al.

Lily, she's in the naughty corner at the moment! As part of a snacky tea, hubby had done some loaded potato skins. There was one left which was on the side.

I'd done to the loo, hubby was in the garden with Lloyd. When I came out, the skin had gone, and there could only be one culprit!

We will have to make sure that all food is out of her way!

Oh, is she sulking, really sad eyes, looking as if butter wouldnt melt?

I had the same with gemma, she is such a greedy so and so. So I once I make sure she would pull a load of empty tin bowls and cans down when she went for some bread, which I had left purposely, crash bang wallop, she sure travelled then and thought twice.
