Thanks Kerri
Hope that doesnt happen too often, as you say should have given more notice, though maybe uncontrolable as they are usually pretty good like that.

no youre right the only other qualms i have with them is the length of time you spend on the phone getting through to them, oh and also they promised to send out a paying in book 2 weeks ago, i do like the account, and we get the texts to, it means i don;t have to worry anymore how much i have to put away each week for bills as they do all that for you, doesn;t matter who you bank with they will all have hiccups at times.

I know what you mean about waiting on the phone, and the paying in book Kerri.

What really, really, really wound me up was that when you want to open and account it's an 0800 (free phone) number, but when you have opened the account and want to speak to customer services it's an 0845 (local rate) number! I know all companies do it, but it's just one of those things that bug me.

Do you know when they will be getting the online service Andy? Also, do they send out monthly statements?

0845 numbers are why I don't contact my creditors. If they give me a normal number I will ring them and talk to them but, when every penny counts, if I cant use my inclusive minutes I dont want to waste money. Its about time the phone companies acknowledged we all have to call these numbers and allow them in our minutes. Its not the same as premium rate numbers. These are billed as lo call numbers and as such shouldn't cost more than phoning a mobile on another network.

I feel a crusade with Ofcom coming on.

Dave

0845 numbers generate income for the company being called.

They are not included in your inclusive minutes as your telephone provider has to pay a higher fixed rate when you call them....

Try using http://saynoto0870.com/search.php this site gives you standard numbers for a number 0870/0845 etc numbers.

If you need any help with your crusade Dave you know where I am - I haven't had a decent moan at a company for a long time!
