Jet, is there anyway you could possibly rent direct from a landlord?? Maybe try the classified in your local paper, it will probably cost you less money and dealing with them direct you could explain your situation. That's what we did and we have a great landlord, we have the tenancy agreement, he's not bothered about us being br, no credit checks done & didn't mind the pets OR the kids!!! lol
Seriously though, this is the route I took and it worked for us. You should have a little time to play with so use it to get organised with basic bank account and renting.

Would be easier to rent privately but theres not much around here for private renting. And what there is doesnt fit with waht we need.
Getting a headache again,lol.
