I opened mine on the day of the bankruptcy at about 2pm when i was made bankrupt at 10.30!
It took about a week for everything to come through the post. However you should still be able to keep your TSB account, however when you are made bankrupt any cash in hand normally goes to the receivers - just a warning xxx

The OR knows that by the time we reach this stage we've all been robbing Peter to pay Paul. Somebody once posted a link to BRO's and the reasons they have been given. Relax. So long as you haven't hidden the money or blown it on extravagent purchases they will treat you fairly. Some people obtain further credit whilst in BR so they are rightly punished.

On the point of telephone calls they have to take you through a security check. If you refuse to confirm their security questions they cannot discuss payment with you.

Julie think about your son and free yourself from this stress. Look into going BR as soon as possible.

Hi there again
I will probably get one too - nothing to worry about it means that you cannot obtain credit etc for a while - but why would you want to?

I'm expecting a BRU as well!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.
