This may interest you - my neighbour wanted to track down a supplier who failed to deliver - she wrote a letter to them c/o the bank where their account was held and into which she paid her money. She got a reply then!

I really think that you may have to kiss goodbye to that money looby. Any decent firm would have sorted you out by now.

You may be able to complain to the Financial Ombudsman about them.

You can find their details here:

Apologies for resurrecting an older post, but I received a call from this company earlier today. Getting over the fact that my phone number must somehow no longer be ex-directory, I was fairly miffed.

If it helps anyone they claim to be based in Bournemouth and I have a contact name and telephone number, the code backs up the Bournemouth claim. They must think I'm interested in their scam-like approach.

As many have already said if an IVA isn't working for you then you should always speak to your IP first, rather than giving these parasites a second thought.

These companies all seem to be located on the South Coast.

I repeat my previous comments, that I would not touch these companies with a ten foot barge pole. They are money making machines, nothing else.

I would never pay for something I could do myself. BR costs enough as it is.

If you are happy with your IVA, stick with it.

No idea how they got your phone number though dobbin.

Completely agree with all your poins kallis. I'll have a word with BT to find out what's going on. The spam mail I could cope with, I hope cold calls aren't an increasing trend.

Plastic, if I happen to answer one of their undoubted repeat calls I might bait them a little to find out the cost of their 'amazing' advice

Dobbin I think you could ask till you are blue in the face and you still wont get an answer as to the "so what do you get out of this?" question. Could be fun leading them on though,as they are probably paid on commission.

I wouldn't waste my breath on them.

The second word would be 'off'.
