Oh that's great....I'm a firm believer that kids will flourish no matter what, they just need space and encouragment. I have 4 and I can honestly say I appreciate each and everyone of them for what they have brought to my life, I love them all equally, even though they are all truly individual...
xx
It's nice to be back......

I agree and yours is a lovely post, Chris.  I have four too and they are all very different.  I love the way they love and appreciate each other.  One of my daughters friends took the mic because she loves going for coffee or pizza with her brother, but thats how they are.

LOL, sat here thinking of their logic reminded me..........
One evening at the end of last week he asked to go macdonalds for tea. We explained that no you cant go to macdonalds for tea you have a pony instead. He sat and thought for a minute and then he said..........................But i cant eat him.

Two of mine
I said to my middle one, I will have to turn those trousers down, oh are they too loud?

Can you help me dig up that flower bed? How do you dig up? Dont you mean dig down?. Watch the paint, why, whats it going to do? I dont like the look of that rash, well dont b***** look at it then.
It is endless and its fun.

All i ever do is cuddle him, hes like an oversized teddybear. The little boy is besotted. Today he sat on him bear back as we led him from his grass to his stable and whenever hes on him hes telling him he loves him its sooooooo sweet. Im so glad we decided to buy him.

Hi Mrs Skint
Roo is sooooo cute and your little boy sounds adorable.
I have been very lucky in my job to work with autistic children and I can honestly say that my experiences have been very rewarding and I have learnt a great deal from them.
I also believe that all children will be what they want to be if they are given the right guidance and support.
My children are a constant delight to me, no they are not perfect and they drive me insane sometimes but they are mine and I love them dearly.

Well, Roo has now settled in nicely and is turning out to be far more cheeky than my little boy.

He runs away from me when i go to get him in........untill he spots the packet of polos...........then he runs back LOL

He eats my hair when i bend down to brush him and he steals from my pockets...........but hey its all good fun and my little boy just adores him.
He has learned how to get on and off on his own and can now steer him and park him (as he says)

School have commented on how much more our little boy speaks now since having him. He stood in front of the whole class with a microphone and wouldnt sit down till he had told them all about him (MASSIVE improvement)

So all is going well and hes turning out to be a very cheeky, yet valuable member of the family [:D]

Its amazing how theraputic he is for our boy. He sings him "love songs" or heavy metal as hes riding him LOL its really sweet.

The pony is so well behaved and really looks after him.

Its brilliant, this is a little boy that hated leaving the house. Now he cant wait to get to Roo. He still hates going anywhere else though but its a start and hes got a cracking suntan after all the fresh air and sunshine.
