As some of you may have guessed i am off today ! That's why I'm posting. Cycled to the gym and on the way back, ccrrrrack !!!!#13;#10;The back axle thing bust, wobbly wheel, then it all mangled and i almost ended up on my arse in the middle of the road. Dead bike. A while back i applied for the cycle to work scheme, where you can get a new bike, helmet and safety stuff as part of the government green initiative.You get tons off the price and the rest is taken out your salary over 12 months. So i get home, moody and not looking forward to the long trip to work and back now without my bike.I check my email, and ta da ! application approved, voucher for the bike within the week. Result.£10 per month, that's 4 bags of fresh pasta that i'm not allowed to eat now anyway. I'm happy, and wondering whether it's a reward of some kind. BE if you are reading this, my travel allowance stays the same i'm afraid.I ride to work at the crack of dawn and late home in the evening, the roads of London are quiet then, any other time it's bus and train and tube, and we all know how much that costs a week. So there !!

That's great news quark. I have the cyclescheme for one of my employees, he was made up with the discount, it's very worthwhile. X

Ha, yeah i have ridden during rush hour and really should wear a nappy or something. Lost count of the times I have nearly been squashed up against railings by buses and lorries etc, etc.I'm off to Cornwall soon, a tip, if you want to take a bike on the coach, get the overnight ones. They take them. A week in my tent with my mates, not all in my tent mind, our bikes and beers, wicked fun, and cheap as well, chips. Farmers will often let you camp out in their fields for free as long as you help out on the farm, and then a great big farmers cooked brekkie. Heaven.

It's my neck of the woods really, i'm a west country lad. tork lyke thaaat. ha ha.A bit of fresh farm air will be the cherry on my IVA cake.I still can't get that young lads face who was number 18 to be murdered in London, out of my head. So i have made a plan to join my colleagues from A&E who visit schools, and show "DA YOOF INNIT" what the effects of being stabbed are, in all it's gory. First though i need a time out. Am i waffling or what ?

Not waffling at all..anyone who isn't affected by events like that must not be human. Good for you that you're turning something very negative into something very positive. Education is the key here I think, teach them young and save them!!

Well,have to do something, sounds shallow but expenses are paid, so another day being occupied and an opportunity to try and make a difference will be a positive amount of time spent I'm quite sure. Bling and ting, with a bit of a colostomy bag thrown in will be my angle.I can speak street, and wear my Dolce & Gabbana that i got on credit and got myself into a mess with financially too." dat is well da mcoy dat you is wearing doh" we'll listen to you cos you are well extra innit.If only these young ones can be encouraged,steered into the right path, then they may be able to earn a great salary, be a success, and able to, if they want to, afford the nice things in life, without the cards, and without the debts. I really am waffling.

And again, BE if you are reading this, £10 expenses paid is a round of drinks in the pub after the meeting and debriefing, doesn't equate to £40 extra pcm for the creditors ok ?#13;#10;
