I feel quite priviliged! I have received my first "Have you been mis-sold an IVA? There are several solutions out there, and an IVA may not be the best one!"

My first bit of fire burning paper! [:p]

Don't worry Emma - you will get yours!

I felt left out until I got mine the other week.

I thought about framing mine [:D] but must admit Cr15py that a bit of pyromania sounds good - I'll give it to hubby and he can do the burning whilst I get the marshmellows out for toasting!!!

...wish they'd stop [V]I was just getting used to the postman jogging by my house and it's started up again with 'have you been mis-sold' letters...Postman will wonder where he's up to.Just hope none are delivered/opened in error by neighbours. He's been known to be less than careful in the past and this concerns me.Any ideas' on how they can be stopped?

I must admit, I aren't overly keen on them either - but I suppose there isn't much (if anything) we can do to stop them, short of writing to each one and requesting you are removed from their mailing list.

Just do what I do ring them up and tell them you rent your house and are not a home owner then you will find they make some quick excuse and say they will take you off there lists quite funny really

really bizare situation here.........

I was online at work earlier when I responded to post, I have just got home, had my dinner and opened post and guess what..........

I have a letter from Integrity finance of Solihull advising me that (after stating date, IP and court) that they are concerned that I may have not been given all the facts (aww how nice!!)
They think that most debt advisors automatically advise iva because it is the easiest and most profitable solution for them, not because it is best for me. Wow then tells me not to panic and there are other solutions and they are keen to talk to me.

Goes on to say they are dfferent and afamily run company and have experience of serious debt problems, they understand the stress and strain and law relating to debt. Was I advised of all of the seven UK debt solutions? and if after a free face to face consultation I choose to work wih them they charge 'modest fees' but they reflect the time they spend helping me.

What a load of rubbish, I took advice from a number of sources (including the forum) and made a decision to proceed with Melanie after being advised of all my options. I have no doubt's in my mind that the iva is not the correct solution for me and I would have worried about getting this letter had I not heard all about these sorts of companies through reading the forum.

Melanie, I will fax a copy to your office tonight for your records

Perhaps they would also like to explain to me why they are targeting my own clients with such utter nonsense!
