I've said it before but......if it wasn't for the friends I have made via this forum, we would never have got through last year.I was so lucky to have the pleasure of meeting Melanie and I only hope I will one day meet the others who have given me the strength to face and live through each day.

I cannot imagine a day without posting now! Enjoy your weekend everyone and special thoughts to Paul and Wonder xx

I have had the pleasure of meeting Melanie and Andy, Size5, David Mond and one or two other professionals who have posted on here in the past.

Hopefully we can all meet up at a Frugal Friends meeting soon. It would be good to meet you finally Julie after much communiction on and off forum!

I would be totally lost now without the forum, I'm on here at every opportunity as you well know.

Wonder and I had an absolutely fantastic evening last night. The people that Wonder works with bought for us a bottle of wine each with personalised labels in a beautiful wooden presentation box with stoppers and corkscrew in the lid and it looks absolutely fantastic. It will be a treasured keepsake for many years to come. We had a fair bit to drink as well and certainly was just what we both needed. The support we have received from you all on the forum is beyond words and is very much appreciated and is helping us both get through a very difficult time. It is amazing the support given on the forum both proffesionally and personnally no matter the circumstances. Many many thanks to you all.

I am the younger one so will have to wait until Monday to reach the milestone. Had a very good party last night could not have wished for any better and saw some of my family that I have not seen for over 3 years. I saw my mum drunk for the first time ever (she may have been drunk before I just not seen her).

I must have missed that bit, your mum being drunk. Also you getting free drinks and not me[:0]. Glad you got big fat hangover.[xx(] [:D][:p]...and how many times do you wanna tell people you are 2 days younger, actually you are about 46 hours younger. But I look younger.[;)]

the question that was asked was "Are you both now officially 40?" not who looks the youngest [:D]

I have only just now caught up with this post and that by accident. I was looking to find out how the meet went and came across iva4us and wonder's news. I am shocked to say the least and heartbroken for them. All the good wishes they have offered me in the past and I was totally unaware there was anything wrong at their end. My heart goes out to you and if there is anything at all I can do to help then pleas ask admin for my email address.

As an aside ... how did the meet go?

It went OK Ray, apart from my hubby partaking of the whisky a little too freely, for which I have apologised!

Met new people and hopefully we will meet up again soon.

thank you very much wizzard for your kind words and you are an inspiration to us both we always look for your posts. The meet was very good, we met some fantastic people and had a good time. Unfortunately Wonder understandably was not feeling too great and we left about 10:30. David Mond and his team at cleardebt were absolutely great hosts, size 5 is a gem. It was a really good night and was a shame we had to leave so early.
