Put your complaint in writing to the IPs regulatory body, if you feel that you have exhausted all roads with the firm's own complaints procedure.

Keep us informed as to how you are doing Ian, it may be useful for any other posters who find themselves in the same situation, and we want to see that you have managed to sort it out and can move on.

Hi all, Unable to contact VN's bodies. Contacted Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and they 'tried hard' to negotiate with VN on my behalf though they have no jurisdiction. They at least obtained an invoice from VN - Huh! - written in Word and printed on headed paper. No details other than'For the professional Services of M Howorth to acting for Andrew As Nominee - 869.57 Vat 130.43 - 1000. On headeaded paper Chartered spelt Chatered. FOS were sent recordings of telephone conversation of 8th Sept and attachments to letter of 15th Sept 2009. More than I recieved with my copy of the letter back then. Copy of Invoice emailed to me from FOS but no copy of attachment that contains list of VN's fees for proposal. FOS sent me Office of Fair Trading (OFT) as a consideration.
I continue to pay the payments, as arranged by myself in 3 weeks, to all my creditors since 28th October 2009. I will update on my progress with OFT. Probably be better off had I gone BK for all the use IVA attempt has achieved. More Debt and 40 years A+ credit rating gon over night.

Why were you unable to contact the regulatory body covering your IP's own licence? This seems rather odd.

Thanks for the update Ian,like Melanie, I'd be interested in why you couldn't contact the regulatory body?

I'd like to know that as well.

Would the ombudsman be the next step?
