Well what can i say - meeting was at 11am this morning and a phone call was made to me by 11.15 - now that is what I call quick turnaround!! I cannot thank Mel and her team enough - they have made this process to date a smooth one and her team are very thoughtful.

I am babbling because of the relief i am feeling, such mixed emotions - very pleased but still disappointed in myself for getting in this state in the first place. But dwelling on it won't change it so onwards and upwards - learning from this and accepting the hand that has been offered to move on.

[:D] Big cheesy grin on my face right now - just waiting for my tummy to settle down now xx
Good luck to all you others out there waiting for your news xx

Oh and all of our creditors responded and voted a 100% acceptance of the proposal with only minor modifications that did not affect the payment we agreed :-)

Excellent news Clairebare! I had my telephone interview with Melanie yesterday and it was great to talk to her. My draft proposal should be on it's way soon so fingers crossed in a few weeks I will be feeling exactly the same as you.[:D]

Well Sally I will keep a look out for your post xx I am sure if Mel and her team have anything to do with it you will be smiling - I honestly had my doubts it would be approved - i couldnt get my head round it all - especially as 1 particular creditor held all the cards - but Mel did all the groundwork before getting the proposal drawn up :-)

Her team are fabulous aren't they. It has been a pleasure dealing with all of them (despite the circumstances). I can't wait to be on the road to debt freedom.
