today is the last ever payment of our IVA!!! i could (and will later) cry with my husband after over 5 long very very hard years. Our IVA company have been fantastic and we have not had any problems with them. i just wondered how long we wait for our certificate if anyone can help?? This has been the hardest 6 years of our lives not just for us but for our 2 children also. i have always dreamt of this day and its finally here :)

Well Done!

How long the final administration takes is, largely, down to who you are with. Some are taking a few weeks to a couple of months, whilst others are taking 6 months to a year.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Congratulations from me too and do not stress about the certificate. Some firms are quicker than others but given that your IVA has run the course there should be no reason for any delay.

Hi Justme,

Congratulations on making your final payment !!

I think it depends on the company with regards to speediness of completion certificates coming out.

We are with Creditfix and we made a Full and Final payment on the 10th April, and have this afternoon received our certificate, so 20 days wait for us.

You could call the closures department in a couple of weeks to ask, if they have not contacted you by then.
Started IVA 27th Feb 2012 - Due to complete 27th Jan 2018 !!

Full & Final submitted and accepted 30th March 2015, paid 10th April 2015 - 3 yrs 1 month into IVA :)

Completion Certificate received- 30th April 2015!!

Congrats justme 123. It really is a great feeling isn't it? Just chill on the CC, as has been said can be over 6 months or as little as 6-8 weeks.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Well done on completing the iva marathon. Tough going at times but worth it in the end.

Take time to enjoy your new found spare cash but make sure you use it wisely,I'm sure like myself many harsh lessons have been learned during the iva!!

We still account for every penny coming in and out our account.

Well done.

Paul
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
