I have just received letter from credit card section and as i had [:x)]cheekily asked for consideration for debts to be written off they couldn't offer this but a[:u] £1 Token payment would be accepted, now as this is my larger of the debts i am going to write to ask if serious consideration to Interest being frozen if i agree to this-seemingly have negotiation started.

Has anyone done this? If so what was the outcome?[88] As i depressed myself on DebtQuestion forum last night for bankruptcy.

I have never tried this myself, but if you don't ask you don't get! I would go careful with the token payment though - if you are making a payment to this particular creditor but not others it could be construed as preferential treatment for the creditor. I'm sure one of the experts on here will be able to advise you on this.
