Oh Happy day, closure certificate came this morning from DFD!!! It's finally all over [:D]

I've not got any communication from DFD regarding the fact that i'd paid my last payment on the 26th Aug, fingers crossed that i will have something very soon acknowledging it!

thanks Orchid, I didn't receive anything from DFD confirming I'd made my last payment. First contact I had from them after my final payment in March was when they wrote to me about the VAT issue, doubt I would've heard from them otherwise. Hope you receive your cc soon but keep chasing them, good luck xx

Have to say thanks to Judith at DFD who pushed my IVA along to the completions team, and to Laura in the supervisory team who kept me informed after it was out of Judith's hands, thanks to you both for your help.

I will once i know that EIF have finished their job, should be all done and dusted re PPI by the end of the month so October looks like a month full of communication skills lol, however i think being realistic it will be December time when i get it, if i get it any earlier than then, that for me is a brucy. Declan if you are visiting once again many thanks for all your hard work and especially for last year that i won't forget. x

Hay Orchid, bit of advice is to ring EiF all the time, they sat on my ppi claim for ages, 2 creditors were attempting to offset very small amounts of money, instead of EiF challenging this they said DFD had to make a judgement, I was initially told back in July it was fine and they wouldn't challenge the amounts, this week I was told its still on going and there would have to be another meeting with Judith and my ip to allow it to be written off! (meeting should have been yesterday but was cancelled and is now tomorrow!!!)

However as all this was going on EiF did nothing despite me making a formal complaint with them and being promised they would chase up DFD to make a decision......they didn't!!

Judith has started to give me a little more confidence in DFD again but it's a long way from how I used to feel about them, as many have commentated within the last 12 months their customer service has gotten worse and worse, no one answers the phone (I called 8 times yesterday for the usual 7 minutes of wait music to then be cut off!!!) I will be very glad when I can formally end my relationship with DFD!
