Whatever Craig decides I feel some sort of regulatory investigation is needed ---- according to GT they have been unable to contact him over the period -- but as soon as he rings a letter arrives the next day!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I see some good points there. I will be also putting these in writing. I have someone looking over my letter from GT next week once I've been able to email it them. I followed foggys advice and spoke to one of Melanie's team today who are going to do this for me which is much appreciated.
I am so grateful for everyone's advice. I will follow this through to the end.
We are very happy to be assisting you Craig, and will make sure that you are fully advised on all options which are available to you now - I think we are just waiting on some paperwork from you so I can review the matter.
Evening all.
I would just like to thank you all for the advice.
And a big thank you to Melanie Giles and her team for all the help and advice.
After a good 30 mins chat today she has given me more advice than GT did in all these years with them.
Onwards and upwards one thing at a time now.
Again thanks.
Bless you for those kind words Craig - at the end of the day I am only doing my job, but am here to help you if you decide you want to proceed with another IVA. Speak soon.
If Craig was to go down the Bankrupt route, surely at one point he would have to state the reasons and circumstances of this decision; is this then not a matter for a judge to investigate GT for causing this mismanagement of an IVA?
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues
Bankruptcy may be one. I am not convinced that you would lose your car, and as you have no home to protect, going BR for £750 is a lot cheaper than another 5 year iva.
Both are forms of insolvency, and neither should hinder your chances of getting a mortgage at some point in the future.
Worth a chat with your local CAB, Stepchange and National Debtline as well. That way you will get perspective on all your options from both the charity and private sectors.
Good luck.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.
Hi Craig - yes all e-mails received, but I was poorly last week so am only just catching up. I'll e-mail you separately later on today.
I doubt a judge would want to get involved in a dispute between a client and his IP, regardless of the facts. Anyone can apply to Court directly if they are concerned about the actions of their IP - however this is a costly exercise and you do need to have the benefit of good legal advice if you feel that you have been treated inappropriately and have suffered loss as a result.
