Hello all, not sure if i am posting in the correct area here but thought i would say hi and tell you all i took my first step over the weekend of applying for an IVA. I have agonised again and again over what to do until i realised that my problem was not just going to disappear.
I have contacted Cleardebt (David Mond's company) and IVA Advice Bureau (Melanie Giles' company) from reading the messages on this forum it would appear they give some very good advice.

I had a phonecall this morning from Cleardebt and spoke to 2 lovely people and feel much better about my problem now as my health started to suffer probably with worry.

I only hope things go well and i can maybe post something on a success story in a few years time.

I'm 4 months in and it's the best thing I've done in a long time. Sure, there are times when you fell restricted but you just need to remind yourself of the bills coming through and money flying out every month and you soon calm down again. ATB

I am sure that you will be hearing from one of my colleagues soon as well. It is always good to take a couple of opinions sho you can compare the advice given and standard of client service.

Good luck in your search.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

May I just add something - as Melanie said you will be able to compare client service. However, I can most strongly recommend Melanie Giles - the service is superb and the expertise beyond expectations. My husband's IVA was very difficult - several companies said "no chance" - Melanie took him on board and achieved 100% of what was sought. After service is superb also. J

I am with David Mond and cleardebt and can say that they did a fantastic job getting my difficult proposal through. You will be in safe hands with either Melanie or David as they are both great IP's that will go the extra mile. Good luck.

I am the client of Melanie - I just would like to say that I confirm everything my wife said about her - I could write a book on what she did for me. The lady is brilliant - no doubt about it. D
