It's because you are in an IVA Ray and they have trawled the Insolvency Register to find your details. You're not on their records as such.

Hubby and me have both had letters from them and I have penned a strong letter back today telling them to leave us alone as we're not interested and I have mentioned this forum as well so they won't be pleased about that!

The best thing you can do is bin it. They are just after money from you to 'assist' you out of your financial problems.

Good idea - be sure to mention the forum, I'm sure they will love to know that another of their 'victims' isn't as gullible as they think!

I thought about doing the email, but I don't want them to know my email address in case they bombard me with loads of stuff.

I've set up those spare email thingies on BT before - and I can never remember how to get back into the thing and use it!

I've never bothered with hotmail or googlemail. Perhaps I should!

True - I used to be on AOL and I did my free account with them when I left. Trouble is that it is a bit close to my normal email address for comfort!

Let us know if IVA Watchdog get back to you. I doubt they will reply to my letter, but they may reply to your email.

I've received 3 letters in as many weeks from these people, even to the point of detailing which court and on which date I was accepted into IVA! I was furious, Melanie now has my letters and she is going to take it up with them personally. I also wrote to them advising them I had cc'd Melanie Giles. To date I've heard nothing, be interesting to see if any of us do!

I've had my reply from IVA Watchdog this morning, with apology and assurance they will not be corresponding with me again and confirmation my details are deleted from their records.

We'll see I guess but at least they had the decency to reply and apologise.

They've not written to me yet, wonder if I'll get anything next week? I mentioned the forum on my letter so they may have taken the hump.

I'm sure they'd be highly delighted!

They obviously don't like me and you do they Ray? Lesley is the only one who has had an apology!

Hopefully you'll get an apology Jan, I did write a stern letter though quoting MPS and all sorts.

I doubt if I will get one, I wasn't very complimentary to them at all!
