Would our home, which in my wife's name be subject to an equity clause ?

if I get an IVA , would the home we live in be subject to an equity release clause as the property and mortgage is in my wifes name

It should not be as creditors cannot make her release equity. However if they feel that you may have an interest in the property they could ask for your IVA to be extended by a year. It depends on the individual circumstances so speak to an IP firm for some advice.
