Hi All
we have finally had our variation meeting for a F&F. it has been accepted!! This is such a relief.
i would like to say that credit fix have been good to us and we had no issues with the F&F.
Now we just have to see how the completion process goes!
Thanks to the forum who have been a great help throughout our IVA!

Excellent news.

But did you sign the new T&Cs to get this through?

I remember this was a sticking point for you before.
One pay-cheque away from oblivion!

Thank you.
Yes we did sign them and all variations were accepted by creditors.
I was concerned the creditors wouldn't accept the settlement because of the t&cs but they did.

Mummyx2. I hope you don't mind me asking but did creditors agree that CF could increase their fees to 23% from the 15% charged by Melanie and how much was the variation fee? Did they also allow 50% of the PPI monies to be returned to you as I am very curious how they view these things?

Feel free to contact me directly if you do not want to say on the forum and I also understand if you do not want to say anything.

Well done. We've got ours next week and haven't signed the new t&cs. Have they said what happens next?

Hi
the terms of increase of fees was accepted by all the creditors. They didn't have anything on ppi but my variation reports did give a cost to reviewing ppi. i will contact and check if we get 50% of the ppi. However i don't think we have any.
We have to make the payment within 28 days however my parents will make the payment tomorrow. Sooner the better really!

I still can't grasp the fact the creditors are just accepting a 8%increase in fees? why is it ok for big firms but not the independent smaller ones? It un-nerves me I can see this being a new PPI debacle in years to come?

My thoughts are that the creditors are favouring the big boys who are then tending to be more creditor oriented. Conspiracy theories abound !
